HEY, WE’RE ADAM & ANNIE

God has a dream for Tacoma, and over the last 10 years, it’s been grabbing hold of our hearts too. A dream to see people bursting with the hope and purpose that only Jesus brings. A dream to see a church renewed and reignited by a move of the Spirit. A dream for revival.

And people are at the center of it. Our neighbors, coworkers, families, classmates, and friends.

Our heart is to build a community driven for the love of God and the good of the city. We want to be a people that leans into the hope-filled tensions we all live in—the already but not yet. The areas where we wrestle with faith and doubt. Where there is space for our brokenness while we contend for our healing, and where we pursue unity without requiring uniformity.

This is the holy space of community and purpose that you’re invited into as we learn to follow Jesus and be a people set apart for His love.

We think this life with God is worth living for and we’d love for you to be part of the story God is writing here.

WHO WE ARE

  • Even when life knocks us down, we are convinced that no person, relationship, or situation is beyond hope. We don't cling to blind optimism, but we hold a posture of durable hope because Jesus has conquered death and the grave.

  • Something special happens when the Church gathers in worship! The life of our church isn't found in our strategies or programs, but in the person and presence of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to creating spaces where we can pursue Jesus together and experience the hope and healing that He brings.

  • God created us for relationships—the kind that are authentic, giving, and committed to each other. We extend the love of Jesus across dividing lines to create longer tables where everyone can be seen, heard, and known. We strive to be a people where you are surrounded while you grieve, and cheered on while you walk in your God-given purpose.

  • We exist to be a blessing, and because of God’s outrageous generosity toward us, we get to give ourselves away. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we work to use our imagination, influence, and resources to see the flourishing of our church, city, and world.

  • He's not just a good leader or philosopher, He's the picture of God and the healer of our souls. He is worthy of giving our lives to. As we walk with Jesus, we become like Him and do what He did—bringing beauty, hope, and healing to our world.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR LOCATION

The Avelon Ballroom is a beautiful space in the heart of 6th Ave. We’re excited to have room to worship, grow, and create, and have a dedicated space for kiddos to learn to love Jesus!

The Ballroom is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building from 1928 that has no elevator/lift. We care that everyone has access to the Gospel, so we will make every accommodation possible for those with mobility challenges.
